Nous sommes toutes concernées par cette journée ! Où les femmes vont défier l'interdiction de conduire en Arabie Saoudite.Elles ne vont pas se réunir à un endroit, une place bien déterminés.Non! Elles vont prendre le volant de 6H30 à 23H30, pour aller faire leurs courses, se rendre chez leur mèdecin, bref, elles vont démontrer que CONDUIRE est une NECESSITE ABSOLUE en Arabie Saoudite.
Ces clips s'adressent à toutes celles qui vivent , où qui ont vécu en Arabie Saoudite, et à tous ceux qui sont exaspérés de rétribuer un chauffeur...
A l'instar des saoudiennes nous aussi, nous ne pouvons pas conduire, nous sommes inféodées à un mari, ou à un chauffeur.

En diffusant au plus grand nombre, il faut savoir que vous faites un acte UTILE ! Il ne faut surtout pas prendre cette action comme un acte de militantisme, qui parfois effraie certaines, mais comme une véritable action de solidarité à l'égard de ces femmes saoudiennes, mais aussi pour vous mêmes ! N'oubliez pas de klaxonner VENDREDI 17 JUIN, une façon de les supporter ! Ou plutôt, faites klaxonner vos chauffeurs!!!!!!

Women2Drive Management: Second Statement
To our free women, to every honorable man,
Peace be with you.
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Baiah (Pledge of Allegiance) to King Abdullah, we, the management of the Women2Drive Initiative, affirm our loyalty to, and renew our pledge to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to hear and obey, and to protect and defend the Homeland in times of prosperity or adversity.
We, the women of this country from all walks of life, swear unwavering allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques who, we are convinced, regards driving as every woman’s legitimate right but who, benign as he is, has encountered, as we have, fundamentalist ideologies from hard-liners who’ve managed to ravage our lives with their extreme and bizarre convictions and viewpoints.
Therefore, the purpose of this statement is to clarify the following issues:
First, the management of the Campaign, its members and participants extend deep appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for ordering the release of his daughter Manal bint Masud al-Sharif.
Second, Manal al-Sharif has withdrawn from the Women2Drive Campaign. That said, the Campaign is not exclusively tied to Manal al-Sharif or any other individual. The Initiative represents the women of this great nation.
Third, unfortunately, some local newspapers and websites have been from time to time creating and stirring up rumors to the effect that members of the Women2Drive management have been arrested by the authorities. We hereby would like to inform you that all management members are safe and sound, and that none of them have ever been detained or even interrogated. Such attempts by the press amount to nothing more than a media circus aiming to scare the public away from the idea, especially women. Little do they know our women fear none but Allah.
Fourth, the Women2Drive Initiative is still on, still scheduled for the same date.
June 17 is the starting date for women to get in the driver’s seat in Saudi Arabia.
Fifth, we would like to remind all participating women to refrain from demonstrating, protesting, carrying slogans, and driving without a driver’s license.
